To place an order, please call our office at 867-633-5218 Monday thru Friday between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm.

Given the perishable nature of sod, it is critical to ensure that you are able to install the sod as close to the order pick-up time as possible.  Occasionally we can cut your sod the same day that you place your order, however we may not always be able to accommodate same-day requests. Advance notice for pick-up date/time is recommended to ensure availability on the day you want it. Orders are only booked 2-3 days in advance. 

In the event that you are unable to pickup your order when scheduled, you are urged to call us as soon as possible so that we can cancel your order or redistribute the sod to another order if it has already been cut. If we need to cancel orders due to inclement weather, you will be contacted immediately.

If you require delivery, you can inquire at the time of ordering if our delivery service is available.

We have had to increase our delivery rates from those quoted earlier in the season.  For details, see the section below " When Ordering".

Please be prepared with cash or check to pay your driver. Make all checks payable to Sourdough Sodbusters.

BEFORE YOU ORDER

• Sod is cut in slabs measuring 1.5x3' (4.5 sq.ft.)
• Each slab is approx 1-1.5" thick including root mass
• Sod is stacked on 3x3' wooden pallets
• Each pallet will hold approximately 300sq.ft. of sod
• Pallet weight ranges from 1,000-1,500 lbs
  
• A minimum of 3-4" topsoil is recommended before sod installation
  

WHEN ORDERING

• We accept cash & check payments only. Credit card payments will be available soon.
  
• Sod is $.47/sq.foot. Please measure accurately, we are NOT responsible for incorrect measurements.
• Pallet deposits of $20 each will be added to your order
• Deposits are fully refundable when returned within two weeks of your order.
  
• Payment is due when you pick up your order. Absolutely NO CREDIT. Please do not ask.
  
• If you require delivery for your order, our delivery service may be available to you.

We make one morning and one late afternoon delivery. We are limited to a maximum of 5 pallets per load and charge $100/hr (1 hr. minimum charge, $25.00 for every 15 mins after that). You may wish to have a bobcat on hand to unload the pallets from the truck at the time of delivery. We are happy to hand-unload the sod off the truck but that will be billed at an additional $25.00 for every 15 mins our driver is unloading sod. Payment due at time of delivery.
